The goal of this course is for attendees to understand what shooting documentation methods are best suited in any shooting scene scenario. It will cover the theory behind shooting scene analysis as well as the breakdown of available methods with an emphasis on the latest research and errors. Manual methods with basic tools, photogrammetry, and 3D laser scanning will be covered.
Participants are assumed to have familiarity with general crime scene documentation methods. Previous experience with shooting scenes is beneficial but not required. Attendees will require a strong internet connection and a laptop with a microphone and speaker.
Participants who successfully complete the course and all assigned exercises will be provided a course certificate
