FREE ACCESS to - Introduction to Photogrammetry 4 Forensics WEBINAR SERIES
Photogrammetry COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Photogrammetry is one of the most underutilized technologies. The use of a digital camera alone can lock away 3D evidence and measurements for future use. The course is designed to familiarize you on how to use your digital camera as a 3D documentation device and apply it in your field area.

This course is designed for beginner-intermediate level users who want to learn more about the workflow and capabilities of photogrammetry and it's 100% online with a LIVE instructor .

The course will be using a full version of 3DF Zephyr for creation of 3D models (I will be supplying you a temporary code). The concepts taught in this course will be applicable to other software packages.
prerequisites:
Participants are assumed to have familiarity with general photography methods. Previous experience with photogrammetry and a DSLR camera is beneficial but not required.

Since the classes will be run over Zoom, it may be useful to have a second monitor. Speakers are required to listen to the instructor and a microphone may be useful in case you wish to ask questions. Sample files will be provided shortly before the course for download.

Note: Students will be asked to complete exercises as part of the course.
RESOURCES:
Attendees will require a strong internet connection, camera, microphone, speakers and a laptop with 3DF Zephyr installed and running (Instructor will provide trial keys as necessary). Please note that 3DF Zephyr is PC only. Also, please try to have a tripod and DSLR camera available. A camera with manual settings will work best for the course.
CERTIFICATE:
Participants who successfully complete the course and all assigned exercises will be provided a course certificate.
actar ceus:
The course is approved for 12 ACTAR CEUs. Please forward your full name and ACTAR # at the end of the course to receive credit.
TOPICS:
PHotogrammetry
You will learn the basics of photogrammetry and how to improve your projects in any 3D software.
EQUIPMENT
I will show you how to use your camera and equipment to its full potential & tell you additional tools
you should have in your toolbox to succeed in taking great photos to later transform them in quality 3D models.
3D SOFTWARE USE
Learn step-by-step how to create 3D models from your photos using 3DF Zephry software. I will show you how to import, process, use masks, control points, animate and export your 3D models.
You will be able to recognize a good 3D model, analyze its data and use it as a main element in your projects.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Carol Ritter, Instructor
Cedarcrest College
Wow, another amazing course! You are so easy to follow and give such clear instructions. Thank you again for offering these courses... you are awesome!
TOM VADNAIS
VADNAIS ENGINEERING
It was an excellent class! A few days before the class I had never made a scaled 3D model nor had I heard of 3DF Zephry software. After 2 days of Eugene's incredible instruction, I made a 3D model of damage to a vehicle that my clients were thrilled with!

Public Safety & FORENSICS
Thanks for sharing your knowledge in a way that the varying skill levels of all students can understand. Having a greater understanding of Photogrammetry and the points clouds that can be generated will help me better serve the the public safety and forensics communities.
“This was the best training I’ve taken from another engineer in forensics. Congrats! "
