1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SceneX, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

 

2. Eligibility

SceneX is intended for professional users including law enforcement agencies, forensic practitioners, investigators, public safety organizations, and commercial organizations. Users must be at least 18 years of age.

 

3. Accounts

Users must register using a valid email address and password. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials. A secure password reset process is provided.

 

4. Evaluation Period and Subscription

New users receive one complimentary 30-day evaluation period without providing payment information. Continued use after the evaluation period requires an active annual subscription. Subscription licensing is managed through the applicable app marketplace and ai2-3D's licensing services.

 

5. Ownership of Content

All photographs, videos, audio recordings, notes, metadata, audit logs, reports, hashes, and other project content remain the exclusive property of the user or the user's organization. ai2-3D claims no ownership rights in user-generated content.

 

6. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use SceneX for unlawful purposes, reverse engineer, decompile, modify or bypass security features, tamper with audit logs, timestamps or hashes, circumvent licensing mechanisms, or compromise the integrity of evidence created using the application.

 

7. Security

Users are responsible for securing their devices and protecting their login credentials. Optional biometric authentication may be enabled on supported devices.

 

8. Evidence and Admissibility Disclaimer

SceneX is a documentation and evidence management tool. ai2-3D does not guarantee that evidence collected, documented, or exported using SceneX will be admissible in any legal proceeding. Users are solely responsible for complying with applicable laws, agency policies, and evidentiary procedures.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ai2-3D shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use SceneX, including loss of data, interruption of operations, or evidentiary outcomes.

 

10. Termination

ai2-3D may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon expiration of a subscription, projects remain stored on the user's device but access to premium functionality may be restricted until a valid subscription is restored.

 

11. Future Services

Future versions of SceneX may include optional cloud storage, synchronization, collaboration, or related online services. Such services will be governed by updated legal terms and privacy disclosures.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
